Nature Diary... Blue Sea, Blue Sky, and Peace...
The morning was grey and misty as a lone sailor drifted slowly past (see extra). Gradually though the clouds started to disappear and as the sun once more shone brightly the sea changed from grey to a beautiful blue, with some little white horses gently riding along as a gentle breeze skipped across the surface of the water.
In the big field the cows slowly emerged from their huddle in a place of shelter in a corner of the field and began to move as one up across the field. Gradually they spread out a little more and one of the more inquisitive ones went to meet with a passer-by who was watching from the edge of the field.
The forecast is of a very much brisker wind, with heavy rain, potential floods, and possible powerful thunder and lightning storms. But right now, as time stands still in these two photographs all is well and, in my corner of the world, everything is peaceful and calm.
Many thanks to everyone for your visits, for your comments, and for all the stars and hearts for my photos. They're all very much appreciated.
