Leptospermum flavescens
This leptospermum, whose members are commonly known as tea trees, grows in our front garden. I know it's August when it begins to flower. It's at the stage I like the best, with a few flowers, which are about one cm in diameter, and plenty of tiny apricot-coloured round buds. In a couple of weeks it will be completely covered with white flowers so it will look like snow. Its weeping habit makes it look truly special. Passers by stop and stare. It's a neighbourhood attraction.
Thanks for hosting osuzanna. Stay well all.
