Lava

We took the scenic route for our way back to Florence and it brought us to this enormously wide area that has been created by volcanoes long time ago. Miles and miles of rough lava rocks. And occasional little tree on its way. Where the lava meets the streets it shows that the lava was more than 10 yards high often.
