Monday: Tone in Tone

It was another scorcher today - I couldn’t quite work out whether I was better off in the shade of the house or in the garden, under the umbrella.  Neither was terribly comfortable.

We went for an evening walk after it had cooled down a bit.  This chair has been in a nearby back alley for ages.  Maybe it’s meant as a resting place for the weary walker who is suffering from the heat.
