Smokey Sun

I went out to the backyard to find an EB and the light was so strange.  Then I saw that the sun was adding an orange glow to the smokey sky.  This was taken about 6 PM when the sun was low and in the smoke cloud.  The fires are still growing fast and now there is a 5th one.  The humidity has been in the single digits but it may get up to 15% in the next few days which will help a bit.  Praying for the wind to go and the rain to come!

The air quality is so bad that we are staying inside as much as possible.  At least we'll be safe from Covid!  

I am grateful to all the firefighters, many of whom have come from neighboring states to give some relief to our crews.
