Of Lucy's new bunny, Rabbity! She had my camera, and this was one of her captures ;-)

I woke up deafened at 8am by both the rubbish truck and the street sweeper which roused me from my cosy bed! It was sunny and bright, but by 11am the sky darkened and we had the first real bit of rain we've had all week. Then it turned into a lovely and warm afternoon.

Lucy came round to play and we sat in the garden. The highlight of the afternoon was pretending to wash the toy dogs, using oven mitts as wash cloths and flip-flops as the soap! I do love a good bit of representational play ;-) There aren't enough words to say how delighted she is to have somebody join in with her play, and at one point we held our oven-mitted hands as she led me to the 'jungle' aka the back of the garden with the toy dogs, to go exploring. When I told her the dogs might be scared, she ventured forth and said with such genuine expression "don't worry, I will look after you"!

We copped out on Little B's walk but just as the sun was low in the sky at half-past seven he was having none of it, walking around whimpering and crying, while licking his lead and collar. We ended up on a very pleasant walk around the block.
