Poured with rain all day. C’s left mid morning and I just worked steadily through the day. Broadband trouble let me down in a few meetings but otherwise all straightforward.
Watched a couple of book festival events...Ian Rankin live and Hilary Mantel on catch up. All fascinating stuff. Chatted to Mt about a job offer he’s had, and admired AR’s face paints, but otherwise a very boring day with nothing much of note really ( if you don’t count another government education U-turn that’s thrown this year’s admissions process into chaos!). All I had for my blip was the raindrops on my window box flowers.....
