Busy, busy day

Got up early to have plenty of time to walk the dogs before I went off to work in the garden. I met a friend at our plot and spent two hours pulling Bermuda grass from the dirt. Seemingly no matter how many times we dug into the soil, we found another bunch of grass. But by the end, we both felt we cleaned out most of the grass. We planted some potatoes and onions.

Then I went to the grocers. This is one of favorite activities. It only took me 2 hours to shop. I read the ingredients of all the products even the dog food.

Then off to the birthday party for a friend. I was the designated driver so only had a few small samples of some more exotic beers. Had a good time talking to a bunch of good folks. Glad that I did not drink because the roads were slick and foggy.

My blip photo is the controls for my new toaster oven that my wife bought me for my birthday. She had planned on surprising me with it on Monday, my birthday, except the FedEx Ground guy here when I was walking back into our building. So I got my present early.
