Monument Nicky Verstappen

Nicky Verstappen, an 11-year-old boy at camp with his friends was found lifeless on August 10, 1998, on the Brunssummerheide. The possible perpetrator was not arrested until 2020 and a verdict against him is expected in the 3rd quarter of 2020.
The monument in his honor near the crime scene was erected against unnecessary violence. In the meantime, it has been heavily damaged by vandals a few times, but fortunately, it could be repaired reasonably well every time.
On the one side is the text:
With friends in the tent
In the morning our little guy disappeared
Found lifeless, how can that exist?
If she could speak it would tell us the moon.

Against senseless violence.
