Helenium

This plants, a member of the sunflower family, is commonly known as 'Sneezeweed' due to the ancient use of its dried leaves in making snuff, inhaled to help sneezing and rid the body of evil spirits.

It's very dull and really quite chilly ..... not cold enough for woolly hats and gloves but certainly no teeshirts and shorts in evidence today.

Home tomorrow and not back again till September 24th when I have an appointment to get my hair cut .... again!
