Day 147 Raindrops on Roses

There were plenty of raindrops around today after further heavy rain.  It's still quite muggy and warm with the skies remaining resolutely grey all day.  We've continued with the painting of the cooker area, so all can go back tomorrow  and Mr MC has taken the opportunity on a wet day to continue with his model railway.
This evening we watched the third episode of the magical  'A Suitable Boy'

In other news: the UK has recorded more than 1000 Covid-19 cases for the 5th day in a row, up to yesterday, but we no longer seem to have information on the severity of cases and numbers hospitalised, or even deaths.  Meanwhile the row over the downgrading of so many 'A' level results  continues, with the Education Minister being urged to delay the release of GCSE  results due next Thursday, until a solution has been found.
