Light and Shade....

Frost was thick on the grass where we walked early this morning. It sparkled like diamonds in the light of my head lamp. The mornings are getting lighter and lighter. Maisie wore her pink coat with the white fluffy collar. Being ladylike is not part of her nature. Twice she got into the river, coat and all, to chase ducks. Naughty girl! The frost soon melted as the sun shone but remained thick and white in the shade.
