Up-market Chip Shop in Amsterdam

Jones was at his nursery so we took a trip into beautiful Amsterdam. Many of the galleries were booked up but we managed into Stedelijk Museum. We really enjoyed the photo exhibition which featured lots from China and the Middle East - but were not so sure about Nam June Paik’s pieces which tried to bridge the gap between art and technology. We did like his ‘TV Buddha 1974’ where a sculpture of Buddha gazes into its own image, relayed through a closed-circuit television system.
