After the party!

Aafke had organised a lovely bbq to celebrate Jody’s birthday and it turned into a very social affair as lots of neighbours popped along for a drink. I loved the friendly, communal way of life. Aafke’s parents (extra), brother and sister-in-law and their three children joined in the fun. Their youngest little girl,Nina, was born very prematurely and spent many weeks in hospital. What a joy to see her now. She’s bright as a button with amazing language skills.
