Rosa rugosa....and fly

A reasonable nights sleep despite Fletch waking up scratching his ear, so I ended up administering drops and comfort at 2 am. This time he settled quickly and didnt want to go outside. M s ear is still painful and we re hoping the antibiotics work quickly as he cant hear anything. 

A cooler day.  Just a local walk up to Bridgegate . It threatened rain all day.  Blip is of a wild rose growing in a hedge.  

I spent the afternoon trying out different photo editing techniques and trying to plan some photo ideas for the coming weeks themes.

Some sad news at teatime. One of the AYWMC photo  group has died suddenly.  She was in my sub group and by looking at her photos you can see she was  a cheerful fun person. Somehow that makes it sadder.

Some positive news . My sister in law has to come to a nearby town on business , so we re planning to meet up. It will be good to see her.
