Just waiting

Pepper and I had a walk with Katie. Pepper dropped her ball down the bank of the new lane edge and went down to rescue it. This did a certain amount of damage to the loose soil surface! We did see that it has been seeded with some grass which is beginning to germinate. I think I will bring some wild flower seeds to scatter too.
I did a bit of weeding later, and then we had Andrew’s leek and egg carbonara for supper, and blackberry pie with proper custard! Delicious.
