Sunday: Leek Flowers ...

... only 2 leeks survived from the Spring plantings and they’ve now burst into flower, thanks to the hot/dry weather in May/June - hoping they set seed :-)
Very lazy morning after yesterday’s socialising.
Late afternoon MrD’s cousin and her husband called by, he’s a builder and is hopefully going to replaster one of our outside walls which is still leaking after failed repairs.
I chatted with his cousin, she was very taken with the Inula https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2739958749765567470 and I happened to have a large plant ina pot which went home with her.
