Hole in the clouds

We just had another gorgeous sunset tonight and even now the clouds are still smoldering reds and purples.  It was a bit of a surprise since we have had clouds building up all afternoon.  But just like many things in life, there appeared a hole in the clouds for the light to penetrate.

Even though for many people Saturdays are days to rest and enjoy.  But for me, it was another day of work.  I have meetings scheduled on Monday and will be out of town on Tuesday, so I needed to get some things ready.  I am trying very hard to "clear my plate" for the week after next when I travel to another city to see the shoulder specialist.  It could not come soon enough.

J and I have been debating whether I should just fly or whether we should take a few days and just drive.  Because of Covid-19, J is concerned about flying and also being in a large city airport with people everywhere.  But driving has its own challenges in that I can not drive that far by myself because of my shoulder.  So he would need to go and that means the pups will be coming as well.  Road trip!  And that also means staying in hotels.  Decisions, decisions!
