Refinishing the windows

A busy day for both of us. G worked on refinishing the wood frames on the outside of some of the windows. After my early morning walk, the "hates to waste food" me took over from the "tired of cooking"me and I had a marathon session in the kitchen. I made zucchini bread with semi-sweet chocolate chips and pecans, a tomato and zucchini galette, and roasted tomatoes with garlic, basil, parsley, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. So many of the Tiny Tom tomatoes have ripened. I was going to dry some of them, but the roasted ones are so good that I think I'll make more of them to freeze. I pureed the mixture and it's so delicious! Not sure if I'll use if for a soup or pasta sauce. Looking forward to the galette for supper.
I finished the vacuuming and did a couple of loads of laundry. I'll have to catch up with some gardening tomorrow. Very hot today, too hot for me! Supposed to be hotter tomorrow.
