There's that confounded bridge

The bridge at West Hall.
Apparently we swam 933m last night, I don't think I've ever swam that far before.
Thanks for all the lovely comments re mums hand, she's very independent and is doing very well.
Toms brother arrived at Jeans house last night after landing at Glasgow airport from Amsterdam (just in time) having travelled from the South Pacific (New Caledonia off the North East coast of NZ).

I had a Dutch tree surgeon take a look at the over grown tree in Jeans garden. Turns out it's a rampant flowering cherry - he'll get it sorted for us.

It should have been Hendstock 9 this evening, already postponed from July 18th. Now postponed till next year. D and H will be having a small  celebration with a few friends in memory of Ian Hendry. Davids best friend who died from meningitis at the age of 43 in 2011. The mini festival raises money for Meningitis Now. I, like many are gutted it's not happening this year, however, I am looking forward to next year.
