Rooftops

After a trip to the market, we walked down the road to visit a couple who are fairly new to the village. It turns out that they are bellringers so they came along to the afternoon practice. With some of our occasional ringers who came up the valley, we had nine at the practice. I worked a bit more on my canvas which includes plan of tiled roofs which I always like painting. Sadly B. and family have had to cancel their holiday with us, the second time they have lost out with holiday bookings this summer. It is especially disappointing for B. as he has been quite stressed, being responsible for managing the student intake at Manchester University and the chaos of the A level fiasco. A holiday would have been good medicine.
