My unwillingness to be a part of big data was thwarted when I bought my new car.

You have to sign up to an App which sends you notifications from the manufacturer (fair enough). What it also does (I discovered) is track your journeys and give you a detailed breakdown of your driving. 

My first bit of feedback was "you don't have to break so hard". Obviously the Japanese engineers who built the app weren't used to Londoners throwing themselves off the pavement and into your path with gay abandon.

The car will brake for you if this happens but I'm not going to try it out!

Today the app gave me a 70% approval rating, so I guess it's teaching me how to drive better. I just wish it wasn't stalking me.
