Saw this book and couldn’t resist ordering it through my local indie shop, Atkinson-Pryce Books. It’s a collection of images taken by African-American photographer Gordon Parks for a 1957 feature in Life magazine called The Atmosphere of Crime. Published by Steidl, in association with the Gordon Parks Foundation. Stunning pix!
