River Skirfare

It was a hot, hot day. I fancied an ice-cream so decided to pop up the dale to enjoy one in the sun at Kettlewell. It almost melted away before I had a chance to sit down and devour it. I didn't hang around for long. It was just so much more pleasant moving through the air on the bike than sitting still.

The forecast was for possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. When I saw these clouds building I got a shift on but, in the end, it came to nothing. Shame. I love a good storm.
