Postcard from Dießen

Took a drive to dump stuff at the recycling centre and just kept going, heading into the countryside. Eventually we ended up at Schacky Park in Dießen which we’ve driven past quite a few time’s but today decided to explore. Not many people around, the sun came out, lots of apple trees were offering up their (mostly hard & sour!) bounty, there were ducks in a pond, sleepy sheep in a meadow, restored buildings, derelict buildings, lots of statues. So all very pleasant!

Friday night’s quiz night of course, no Kingussie contingent, G’s camera out of action again and one member disappeared silently into the night half-way through .... but still a good laugh.
