A little early

Walking through the garden yesterday I realized with a shock that our almond tree is in bloom. Seems much too early -- maybe tricked by the warm weather before winter and the cold winds re asserted themselves this week. It's an old tree, though new to us having moved in last fall, and I'm sure it will be fine. But it does make me wonder in a different way about the changes in the weather.
