Closing Ceremonies

The last day of the AOG ended with a high flying finish. The last events wrapped up this AM  and this afternoon  the athletes and spectators  gathered to watch the Closing Ceremonies. The opening was  spectacular  with the Massed Starling Piper Band Flyover . The Lead starling set the course and the beat for the pipers as they  followed. The crowd went wild for the aerial acrobatics and music. The finale was a salute to the games by Team Hummer who  did some amazing acrobatics themselves dipping and diving over the field.
All good things have to end and we bid goodby to the 2020AOG . The athletes are slowly leaving  for their homes ,the spectators have gone. But  we have some great memories of these wonderful games, especially important in these difficult times.
