A Day at the Races

We spent today at Caufield Races. Here's Ted on one of the many losers that I had money on.

It was a very different experience from the Cheltenham Gold Cup - it didn't rain, snow or blow a gale - just very hot and sunny. The races are much shorter than Cheltenham too - possibly due to the heat - and they're over in about 1 minute 30 seconds, so if your horse doesn't get a good start you've already lost (several times in my case).
