Headed to our apiary. Was going to merge some nucs but found this. Will hold off and see what happens to this hive. May put all the nucs in this if queen fails.

Confused by this I found comb scattered on the ground. Initial thoughts done one been in my hives. Then the penny dropped and looked up a swarm must have been in tree and washed out on Wed night storms.
