Meridian

Been to the Royal Observatory at Greenwich today. The park is still being relandscaped following the Olympic equestrian events and not very pretty at the moment. But the Observatory didn't disappoint. Lots to see and we were there in time to watch the big red ball do its thing at 1pm GMT. Came down into the town afterwards and had a very nice pub lunch and a wander through Greenwich Market. All in all a very pleasant day, all the better for being spontaneous.
