Plum cake

You’d think this was a picture of our father, easy mistake to make but it’s actually a picture of the amazing plum crumble cake from Nigel Slater’s Tender fruit book.  Hot hot hot again, we went over at 5ish but the thermometer at the back of their house had shown 95 F that day.
