Mum and Baby Bouquetin .....

...... in the early morning sunshine after yesterday’s storms. The babies are looking quite solid now, on the Roc d’Orsay, and are certainly happy on steep ground (see extra in the shadow of the north side)..... I saw 3 pairs this morning, delighted to see the local bouquetin population on the increase.

Another delightful find was an Apollo butterfly, first I have seen this year (second extra).
