Corona Virus update
Bahrain recorded 460 new cases, 1 fatality and 332 recoveries today.
Today's newspaper headline says it all.  "Stop being reckless.  Our numbers are once again spiking after Eid holidays.  People were asked not to visit families and go out but it didn't happen and we have lots of cases where one member of a family has spread the virus to 20 other family members.

Italy ruled on Wednesday that people travelling from Croatia, Greece, Malta and Spain must be tested for the coronavirus on arrival, as new infections increase in the four countries which are popular holiday destinations for Italians.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Thursday she expected the coronavirus cluster in the country to grow further before slowing down, as the Pacific nation reported an additional 13 new cases from domestic transmission.

Nearly 6% of people in England were likely infected with Covid-19 during the peak of the pandemic, researchers studying the prevalence of infections said.  A total of 313,798 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Britain, 270,971 of which have been in England, or just 0.5% of the English population.
