Christmas Present!

For Christmas, my mother-in-law bought everybody a craft present. Mine was a mechanical dog!

Audrey and I had promised our girls we would go swimming this afternoon, however Erica has started with a cold, so we decided to give it a miss! Alternative plan required. Out came the Christmas present, and Erica and I built the dog.

Well after two hours Erica wilted, and gave up, but I kept going. I was not going to be beaten by a few screws, pieces of plastic and a set of extremely strange instructions!

An hour later and the dog, was complete! Question is. Now that we have a dog, which does not eat, require walks or incur expensive vet bills do we stick with Yellow, as he is now affectionately called by the girls, or will a real, living, breathing, expensive puppy arrive later in the year! Time will tell.
