As forecast...

The rain came down today! We’ve had some very sharp showers which have relieved the temperature by several degrees.

Lunch with friends was finished just in time before they had to pack the table away and cover the chairs. We watched from inside the lounge and watched the puddles form. I love Hilary’s garden! Lots of different levels and features, and a mass of colour!

We went for a quick walk round the block this evening. No dinner needed, just exercise. We watched the first of two programmes on the life of Captain Sir Tom Moore. Articles in Radio Times have been well worth reading too.

I phoned Littlest Sis and they’re doing well there, getting ready for Saturday’s wedding. The groom was making some finishing touches to his speech, which he will be giving with his wife.
