Rannoch Moor...

.....early start for our weekend adventure to the west. I was keen to experience the West Highland Line and even in the mist it didn't disappoint; truly stunning journey, especially Glenfinnan to Arisaig.

As we crossed Rannoch, I noticed the remains of the soldier's trenches; an 18th century youth training scheme to keep the disaffected locals from rebelling again.

On arrival, we dumped our bags in our 'Restaurant with Rooms' and set off for a 6 mile jaunt, observing Seals and Buzzard's and aw'hing.

Our meal at night included prawns and lobster; delicious.
