Sitting Pretty.....

It was a day to lie low. Cloudy with a bitterly cold wind. I swept the back porch and surrounds. Myrtle on the left and Marigold on the right, settled on these mats for a while. The black patches in their furry coats are actually “Smoke” with silver tones under the top surfaces... Very pretty. Human health-wise I have had a head cold for ten days now and I was feeling miserable with it. I contacted our GP Practice and arranged to be seen and triaged. As a precaution I had a Covid-19 test. That’s no fun at all. The virus has spread further from Auckland but cases seem to be in the same “cluster”. So Auckland stays in Level 3 for 12 more days and the rest of us stay in Level 2.
