BLIZZARD
By the time this photo was taken, the snowfall was beginning to show signs of lightening, but the storm at sea and high tide plus howling winds and 30 inches of snow blowing and drifting has made for a wild day! We still have power- a miracle!
This is Carter taking snapshots of her own. At the peak of high tide, the water and sea spray was up and over the seawall.
Sledding tomorrow when the sun comes out.
Made meatballs this morning, yum! Now waiting for wind to die down so we can have a fire without puff back -- otherwise we douse our house in soot.
Aunt Hope is here visiting my mom for a few days. We went down this morning to say hello (and snap these photos) and they happened to be dressed in almost-matching dark pink cable knit sweaters. They hadn't noticed. Ahh, sisters!
