The day after

It was another warm and quite muggy day after some big thunderstorms last night. Fortunately Edinburgh got off quite lightly, although the internet was down until late afternoon. We went to Edinburgh Castle, having booked the tickets last week, and had a good walk around without the normal huge numbers of people. Afterwards I walked around the Old Town and then went into Princes Street Gardens where the floodwater was still around; it’s always good to see Seagulls enjoying the unexpected water.
