Elterwater

I decided to have a bit of me time today and went up to Elterwater. It was lovely to have some good views. There were a lot of people around though and many were on the banks or swimming, so it was hard to get shots without people. 

I had a lovely drive back and then walked down into Grange for another recce. I actually found where you could get across the grass safely to the water so managed a few different shots of the area. I sat for quite a while watching the gulls and practising my bird in flight photos - I like the one in the extras as it is so expressive.
