Berries

I initially thought these were hips, but now I am not so sure. It has been much cooler today and we had a very short sharp shower this morning which seemed to indicate a change from.the heat of the last few days. I went round the streets rather than the fields, but there are very few flowers everything seems very green! Some of the chestnut trees have autumn leaves, and I wondered if there was some tree disease that was attacking horse chestnuts?
