Redfearn's Mill
This mill on the Broad canal was originally used as a canalside warehouse when it was built at the end of the 1800s. I was attracted to the texture of the stone and the Buddleias growing on the rooftops and I wondered about the people who have had some connection with the building over the years - what their lives were like and if they were happy. The area is an on-going project with demolitions and plans for new buildings to go up; I know I'm not alone when I say that I'm always pleased when a building such as this is saved and put to some good use.
You can see from my blip the weather changed today and the temperatures have been more comfortable. Many thanks for visiting my journal and for the kind response to yesterday's blip.
