Abstract Thursday...Weather

I had my doubts about today's weather when I opened the curtains and saw the thick mist that had rolled up over night, could not see the sea! But by 9.30 it had cleared and turned into yet another hot sticky day. Decided to visit Teignmouth where I had enjoyed a couple of lovely breaks last year and it didn't disappoint. A quaint, old fashioned town with a super beach and esplanade, and a harbour on the mouth of the river Teign. Much less commercialised than Paignton, just a Punch and Judy and an Art Trail where you can see a Mermaid's washing line...see extra!!
Perfect weather for messing about in the water as these children, and many others were doing, quite busy on the beach but I noticed everyone kept their distance.
I do like it here and will hopefully be back again before the year is out :)
