2071. So many cables!

Hubby decided to upgrade our Home Theatre system and since we were replacing an existing Panasonic one we thought it would be straightforward.....how silly we were!
It took us about five hours and a trip to Currys to replace a cable (which we didn’t need to!), we finally discovered that it needed lots of settings to be changed...and once this was done it now all works perfectly.  We have ordered new stands for the rear speakers but they are wired up and so far so good....needless to say the air was a little blue at times....
It’s my youngest son’s birthday today but he’s working so I spoke to him briefly this morning and may try and speak to him after work later....
