Ancient gravestone!

This is one of the old gravestones from 17thc in the Abercorn Kirkyard yesterday's blip! Beautiful carving skulls & angels, usually the tools of the trade of the deceased would be depicted on the gravestone ie plough, anvil etc

It's been a dreich day! A day for clearing out, have had several visits to the recycling centre nearby!

Great score for Scotland!! And Wales!! A cause to celebrate indeed! "They'll be dancing I the streets of Hawick tonight" the words if the brilliant & sorely missed Bill McLaren!
