The cafe and training establishment where I work, The Usual Place, is usually so clean that you could eat your lunch off the floor and not suffer for it (much nicer to sit at a table, though).


When it reopens (hopefully at the end of this month) the cafe will be even cleaner if that's possible. Here you can see the deep clean beginning right up in the roof (that's not our young people on the scaffolding but a professional firm!). 

We are back at work weeks ahead of the opening to ensure that the cafe will be a good place to eat and that everybody (staff, public and trainees) will be safe. Today was my first day back and we have gone through the new roles and procedures and risk assessments. No stone has been left unturned, so far as I can see..

It was good to see all my colleagues again. Zoom really is no substitute :-)
