Getting to know the seaside

It’s been another very hot day although we found some welcome breeze when we headed out this morning to Exmouth. Our grandson very much enjoyed his beach outing being fascinated both by the sea and the sight of other young children playing in the sea. We were back home for his second day of food tastes, it was potato today and he took easily to the purée. After his sleep and some floor time where his main focus was on learning to say sounds and talk to us. He wasn’t so keen today on doing his backwards crawl but he had fun in the paddling pool.
