The lotus pond

After a night of violent thunderstorms, the like of which we have not seen for years, it's  been a day of high temperatures -26C- and humidity.


By Scottish standards that is a heatwave. I rang a friend in London and was told they had temperatures of 34C. -and no air conditioning.

It wa a pleasure to walk around our woodland garden and enjoy the shade and our lotus pond.
