SEA FEVER

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

John Masefield

I went to the sea today, Lytham St Anne's, and it was a windy day but with no white clouds flying, more a dull grey clinging murk. But the spray flew and the spume blew, and I did find the Long-tailed Duck in Fairhaven Lake. G is s happy bunny.

I gave a little wave Poppy in all directions possible!
