The onions this year are whoppers - our gardener was duly impressed. Think planting them through the black membrane has made a big difference.

I managed to get out for a wee run at lunchtime - the first in a couple of weeks so was much needed.

My friend had his oncology appointment this afternoon and he needs some more tests but looks like he can start chemo in the next 1-2 weeks. They won’t be able to cure him but they hope to give him a bit longer.

The strange day was rounded off with the most phenomenal thunder and lightening storm I’ve ever seen in Scotland. It tumbled on for well over two hours with constant flashes from all directions. Ended up being quite late to bed due to being out watching it.
